Parking Assistant - Part Time 18 Hours Per Week
Highways & Public Protection - Parking Services, Pavilion Buildings, Southport (subject to relocation to Magdalen House, Bootle)
We are seeking to recruit to our busy Parking Team based in the Parking Services Section. The team is currently based in Pavilion Buildings in Southport Town Centre but will relocate to Magdalen House, Bootle within the next few months.
The Section is responsible for the management and enforcement of the Councils car parks and pay and display parking as well as the enforcement of all on-street waiting restrictions in Sefton.
The Parking Assistant will assist as required with all aspects of the Section’s function including responding to representations made by motorists who have been issued with a Penalty Charge Notice.
The successful candidate should be numerate and literate to a minimum of NVQ level 2 or equivalent. Keyboard skills will be required along with an aptitude for working in a busy customer focused environment.
