Housing Standards Support Officer  

Introducing ourselves

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Housing Standards Team until  31/3/2025 for a Housing Standards Support Officer. The successful applicant will assist the Team with general administrative work, especially in relation to the government funded Healthy Homes Project, focusing on improving the living conditions within the private rented housing sector. The role includes answering the telephone, scanning/photocopying documents, data input and typing notes on request.  Assisting in the production of reports from specialised ICT systems, data checking and cleansing.  You will also work on the promotion of the Healthy Homes Project and assist with arranging training events for landlords and officers.

Job requirements

We are keen to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with previous experience in an administrative role and experience in customer services.

The successful candidate must be flexible, motivated and have good communication skills. They must be able to work as part of a team.

Full time Fixed term until 31/3/2025  Grade D  SCP 5
