Your new place of work
Sefton is a vibrant local authority that is on a journey as it works towards its exciting Vision 2030 with partners.
We have everything from beautiful coast and countryside to pretty villages, industrial areas and the docks. The distinctiveness of Sefton’s towns and villages is integral to our uniqueness; however, it is the people that create the distinct and diverse communities that make it a vibrant place to live, work, visit and invest in.
Praised by the Local Government Association’s (LGA) peer review team for demonstrating real ambition for Sefton, having a strong track record of partnership working and place leadership, and for having a motivated, dedicated workforce, it puts the Council is a strong position to meet the challenges and opportunities ahead.
Your new opportunity
Sefton Council are looking to appoint a Service Manager – SEND to lead and manage the statutory assessment team and travel support team in order to transform and develop services for children with Special Educational Needs. You will be highly experienced in engaging with stakeholders both internally and externally including parents/carers, children and young people, health colleagues, social care etc., building, fostering, and maintaining high level partnerships across a complex landscape.
