An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right candidates to join Sefton Council’s Commissioning Service, in the Placement Officer role.

The Home Finding Team is a small, friendly, supportive team working in an extremely busy environment. As a Placement Officer you will play a critical role in finding and securing homes and support services for children who require our care. You will ensure that care is of a high quality, best value for money and available when a child needs it.

This position is a challenging and rewarding one which requires excellent interpersonal and organisational skills as well as strong motivation. The role will require you to communicate effectively and build good working relationships with a range of professionals both inside and outside of the Local Authority, including care providers, social care and health.
