Technology Enabled Care Installer
Location: Sefton Careline, 209 Linacre Lane, Bootle L20 6AD
Sefton Careline is a TSA accredited Alarm Receiving Centre that operates 24/7 365 days a year, supporting vulnerable residents across Sefton to live independently and safely in their own homes using Technology Enabled Care Solutions (Telecare). An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right person to join the Sefton Careline Team.
We are looking to appoint a Part time (18 hours) Assistive Technology Installer who will work Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am – 5pm.
The successful candidate will be predominately installing and uninstalling equipment which provides innovative telecare solutions to promote the independence and wellbeing of vulnerable people and their carers in the community.
You will work collaboratively with Adult Social Care and other key stakeholders within the council in support of Technology Enabled Care solutions. The work is fast, varied, and challenging and as a result you will acquire a diversity of knowledge and practical skills. A good understanding of all telecare equipment available would be beneficial as is knowledge and experience in Technology Enabled Care Solutions.
The successful candidate must be a confident communicator, and have experience of dealing with vulnerable adults, often in challenging situations. Patience and excellent listening skills are essential elements for this post as is the ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information. Flexibility and reliability are also essential requirements of this post. You must also hold a full driving licence.
