Sefton Council is recruiting an Assistant Director for Property and Strategic Asset Management, to oversee the growing team in this increasingly important service area, and to lead on the maximisation of the Council’s asset base with the future of the borough, the Council and its assets in mind.
This incredibly exciting role will include oversight of all matters relating to property, building services, asset management and energy management. This is a diverse role with an ambitious Council, which will work closely with all parts of the organisation to support achievement of our strategic objectives in all areas. It will work particularly closely with Economic Growth and Housing, with the future of place at front of mind in all aspects of strategy development and implementation.
The breadth of this role and the Property and Strategic Asset Management service ranges from delivery of the Southport Town Deal (and projects such as the new Marine Lake Events Centre), to the management of the continued operation and future repurposing of the Strand Shopping Centre, to the wider growth and strategic investment programme, to the future of the Council’s rich asset base, to the delivery of innovative solutions to challenges in such areas as energy management and heritage assets.
