A great opportunity has arisen to join Sefton Safeguarding Children Partnership (SSCP) as its Manager.

As the ideal candidate you will be an enthusiastic individual with demonstrable experience of effective partnership working and of setting and delivering, clear priorities and standards within a business planning framework.

You will have extensive experience of working within a multi-agency setting and be confident working with officers at all levels on strategic priorities. You will have a key role in developing and implementing the forward work plan for the Partnership, writing and presenting reports and analysing information which will make a difference to the safety and well-being of children at risk across Sefton.

You will be able to influence strategic partners and forge effective relationships across partnerships to develop effective safeguarding arrangements throughout Sefton.  You will be expected to liaise closely with the 3 Key Statutory Leads, Independent Scrutineer, Chairs of the Sub-Groups and the Chairs of other Partnership Groups so experience of working at a senior level is necessary.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the safeguarding board meets its statutory duties and will manage the Business Unit directing their work to ensure smooth running of all board activities so experience of managing staff is essential.
