We have fantastic job opportunities for qualified Social Workers to work as part of a welcoming and supportive team within Sefton Children’s Services. You will receive £3000 Golden Hello and £2000-£5000 Market Supplement for some teams dependent on where you want to work.

You could work in a range of different roles and sectors of Children’s Social Care, including:

Cared for Children covering care plans, court proceedings, fostering, adoption, residential provision and care experienced young people. Help and Protection covering a wide range of services including; assessment and front door, family support and family group conferencing, children with complex needs and child exploitation.

We are dedicated to supporting practitioners with their professional development and to provide a career pathway with a structured support programme and training opportunities. Case management support, supervision and guidance will be provided by Team Managers who will ensure that you have a workable and manageable caseload.

We are looking for new and experienced social workers who can bring their knowledge, expertise, and passion to help improve outcomes for the children and families of Sefton.
