Refurbishment Technician

Full time - Permanent post

You will be working in our refurbishment department within the Community Equipment stores, and will be working in a team of three people.

The role will involve ensuring all parts of equipment are present; all items will have been returned to stores after use and will have been decontaminated. You will be undertaking daily maintenance, service and repair of equipment passing through the Community Equipment Service refurbishment area; ensuring all parts have been cleaned correctly and showing no signs of rust and can be re-issued.

Administrative paperwork must be accurately competed each day.

This would suit someone from a repair and mechanical background as experience in the maintenance of community or similar equipment is essential. Knowledge of the Elms system would be advantageous as you will be working with this on a day to day basis, however training will be given.

Knowledge of Pat testing and Loler testing would also be desirable.
