Support the Team in the planning, co-ordination and control of work and resources in providing an effective and efficent Green Infrastructure Service maintaining and improving its assets. Contribute to the overall management and efficient running of the section, general maintenance duties across the Council’s Green Sefton facilities. The work involves managing a small team, dealing with the public and handling monies where appropriate and ensure effective administration and maintenance of information systems. They will also be required to guide and advise the public, and assist with the maintenance and presentation of sites. Applicants should ideally hold a full clean driving licence.

Interviews will take place on 26th or 29th March 2019.

Working hours will operate over a 7-day week and will include evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays. A uniform will be provided, which must be worn at all times. Previous experience of working in similar roles on a Golf Course, coastal and / or within a grounds maintenance setting would be useful. Experience of the use of specialist mowers and other golf maintenance equipment and mobile communications would also be valuable.
