Procurement Support Apprentice - Higher Level
Do you see yourself as the next Peter Jones or Karen Brady – leading commercial deals, transforming services and making connections?
Then this is your perfect chance to take your first step in what can be a lucrative career; one that can open doors for you.
We’re on the lookout for someone who is committed and motivated and can help Sefton Council manage contracts and tenders, provide advice and support to colleagues and bring in innovation into how we buy goods and services.
As our higher-level apprentice, you’ll be learning on the job while working towards your Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply qualification, which will set you up for a rewarding and challenging career.
This isn’t like most apprenticeships - you’ll help to make sure our contracts are on budget, on schedule and help us to achieve our business aims.
Added perk: you’ll get half price travel if you’re aged 23 and under!
Whether you are just starting out in the world of work or looking for a fresh start and to get back in to work, then check out this job – it could be just what you need!
Apprenticeships are high quality, work-based training programmes for people who want to develop their prospects and career. The programme provides work-based training to young people and adults who want to learn new skills and gain qualifications while working.
This post will be based at Magdalen House, Bootle
Closing date Monday 6th July 2020
Interviews will take place Thursday 16th July 2020
