Job requirements:

We are seeking to recruit a full time Senior Systems & Data Officer in the busy service area of Transportation & Highway Infrastructure, which is part of the Highway & Public Protection Service based in Magdalen House, Bootle.

The Division is responsible for the management, maintenance and strategic planning of the Council’s Highway and Transportation assets within Sefton.

The post is required to support the management and development of all Transportation and Highway Infrastructure (T&HI) asset management systems and to be a key influencer in the delivery of an integrated solution. In addition, the post will also assist to maintain all data underpinning the highway asset and to ensure that it is accurate and up-to-date.

The post will support the Systems Development & Records Officer to achieve the following outcomes: that informed decisions are made, working with partners and neighbouring authorities are more effective, Statutory legislation requirements are complied with and all relevant ISO & British Standards are met. It will also contribute to support the overall management and efficient running of the Team, to ensure effective administration and maintenance of performance and information systems.
