If so, Sefton Council wants you to help achieve its vision for all children. . With our partners, we are working hard to help all children and young people keep and feel safe; to support individuals and families as early as possible; and to help children and young people feel good about themselves and others. Team Managers have management responsibility for a team of social workers and are expected to provide robust supervision in line with Sefton’s supervision policy. Applicants should have proven management experience or be ready for the step up to a management position. Please note that in order to apply for this post you must be qualified and registered as a Social Worker with the HCPC and have post qualifying experience in safeguarding children.
If successful, you will also be required to apply for an Enhanced Criminal Record Check from the Disclosure and Barring Service. Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults across the Borough.
