Job requirements:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Team Manager to join Adult Social Care Business Support at Sefton Council. This is a key leadership role supporting the delivery of an efficient, responsive and high-quality business support service across Adult Social Care. You will lead Business Support Assistants, coordinate day-to-day operations, support service improvement and help ensure residents receive a professional and person-centred service.

In this role, you will supervise and support staff, manage workloads, oversee business support processes, contribute to service development and help maintain high standards of governance, data quality and customer service. You will also work closely with managers and colleagues across Adult Social Care to ensure support services are efficient, responsive and focused on the needs of local people.

About you
You will have experience of supervising or managing staff in a busy environment, with strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills. You will understand business support and customer service processes and be confident working with data, reports and financial or service systems. Most importantly, you will be committed to high standards, confidentiality and delivering a supportive, person-centred service.
