Are you a dynamic, organised, and forward-thinking professional ready to take the lead in a fast-paced learning and development environment? Sefton Council is looking for an exceptional Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Corporate Learning Centre and help shape the future of workforce development.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As Office Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our operations—managing finance, administration, building facilities, and a small team of support staff. You’ll play a key role in:
- Overseeing financial systems and budget reporting
- Driving business development and marketing initiatives
- Managing building safety and compliance
- Leading and developing a team of Learning and Development Support Assistants
- Supporting service improvements and customer engagement

- Confident with and experienced in financial systems and budget management
- Skilled in team leadership and staff development
- Proactive in identifying new business opportunities
- Experienced in facilities and health & safety management
- Passionate about delivering high-quality support services
