This is an exciting opportunity to join the senior leisure management team at Active Sefton and continue the journey to excellence for the service and Bootle Leisure Centre.
The role is pivotal for the success of Boote Leisure Centre and will require a candidate that can balance a commercial focus with community cohesion and a team centric approach.
This role requires an inspirational leader with proven flair and commercial ability, as well as the skill, energy and determination to drive and develop the business. We're looking for manager with the ability to develop the standards and reputation of Bootle Leisure Centre whilst nurturing and growing the user base for all aspects of the centre.
The Role:
To inspirationally lead and manage the day to day running of Bootle Leisure Centre.
To lead and deliver the commercial performance of the business.
To lead and deliver the operational excellence of Bootle Leisure Centre
To ensure that Bootle Leisure centre is a safe and fun environment to visit and work within.
To train, develop and recruit the team and lead them to success.
The Candidate:
Must have a proven and successful track record of management experience within a leisure related industry.
Must be passionate about customer service and be an inspirational leader in the way they manage.
Must have a proven track record in driving sales and co-ordinating local marketing activity as well as of recruiting and managing a successful team.
Ideally will have experience as a manager overseeing all business areas within a leisure facility or have substantial experience as a Fitness Manager or other similar operational function
