An opportunity has arisen within Sefton Council for a full-time leisure attendant, based at Bootle Leisure Centre. The post is for a fully qualified NPLQ lifeguard to work as part of a team, ensuring customer safety and high standards of service and customer care are maintained.  This role requires constant supervision of the poolside; you will need to be fully focused with the ability to remain vigilant, alert, and attentive.  This position involves the setting up of equipment to meet the needs of the programmed activities and to undertake cleaning tasks to ensure the centre is well presented to the highest standard.  The candidate will have a friendly and approachable manner to always maintain a high level of customer service.  The candidate must be NPLQ qualified and must be able to demonstrate competency.  Ongoing monthly training is also required.

Qualifications

It is essential you have a current RLSS Royal Lifesaving Society National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. A first aid at work qualification, AED or Pool plant operator’s certificates are also desirable.

Skills and Experience

All candidates should ideally be able to demonstrate a level of experience and
knowledge commensurate with the position.
