An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Repairs Technician, Grade F, to undertake repairs and the maintenance of premises and children’s play facilities in our parks and open spaces.
Green Sefton provides our communities with a range of services in Sefton’s parks, coast and wider greenspaces, which we manage to support the health and wellbeing of residents and visitors. We have a hundred sites with equipped play facilities and around 90 different buildings and premises on our sites, as well as many miles of fences and site furniture, all of which require maintenance.
The role involves working outdoors undertaking a wide range of maintenance tasks, such as inspecting and repairing play equipment, undertaking some repairs to infrastructure, including installing bins, benches and graffiti removal. The role sits in the Green Sefton service, within In House Operational Services based at Derby Park depot as a main base but providing boroughwide support as required.
This is an exciting time to join the team and support the ongoing development of our Green Sefton service
