AMHP Lead Practitioner - fixed term for 12 months
The Role
Sefton Adult Community Mental Health services are looking to appoint to a newly created role of AMHP Lead Practitioner to support the delivery of the Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) and Adult Community Mental Health Services.
The post is a fixed-term 12-month post, subject to review.
Sefton Adult Community Mental Health Team are co-located with Merseycare Foundation NHS Trust colleagues and provide social care services to individuals with severe and enduring mental health problems.
The successful post holder will be responsible for the running and development of Sefton’s daytime AMHP service alongside the AMHP Lead, providing supervision and support to AMHPs and trainee AMHPs.
Candidates needs to be a practicing AMHP with experience of working on a duty AMHP rota.
