We have several opportunities for Senior Social Workers (Qualified and Experienced) and Social Workers (Newly Qualified Inexperienced Social Workers). Preference will be given initially to Senior Social Worker applicants.
The vacancies are in Children’s Social Care and are full time permanent roles in the South and North of the Borough.
All applicants must be registered with Social Work England.
Sefton Council is offering a £3,000 'Golden Hello' payment to qualified Children’s Social Workers (not ASYEs). This ‘Golden Hello’ incentive is applicable to all new employees who are successful in their application for permanent Social Worker vacancies in all teams across Children’s Social Care.
In addition a £2,000 'Market Supplement' applies to social worker roles considered to be hard to fill posts (corporate parenting, adolescent, locality, assessment, and court teams). Terms and conditions will apply.
