About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen as we now recruit to the post of Burials and Cremations Service Manager.

Sefton wishes to recruit an experienced person to lead, manage and shape the future direction of its burials and cremations service. The individual will be a positive and enthusiastic leader with excellent knowledge, understanding and track record in delivering burials and cremations services.

You will be responsible for managing the operation and driving the future development of the service, ensuring that burial and cremation processes are carried out in accordance with statutory duties and in-line with changing social perceptions and need.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of In-House Operational Services and form part of an excellent Leadership Team across that service.
