Sefton Fostering Service is growing … We are looking to create a third team to provide greater focus and support for our Connected Carers and Special Guardians. The Service is currently supported by 2 teams – Recruitment and Support & Supervision, Support and Review. We require a third Team Manager to strengthen and develop the service. The successful person will have management responsibility for a team of social workers and placement support workers and will be expected to provide robust, reflective supervision in line with Seftons supervision policy. Applicants should have proven management experience or be ready to demonstrate that they are able to step up to this role. Knowledge of Fostering Services, recruitment, support and retention of carers and relevant legislation and Fostering regulations is essential. Please note that in order to apply for this post you must be qualified and registered as a Social Worker with SWE and have post qualifying experience in safeguarding children.
