An exciting opportunity has arisen in Sefton Council for a number of Early Help Worker vacancies who are required to support the integration of services into the Sefton localities model.

The successful candidates will form part of a multi-disciplinary team, responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and families, acting as a single point of contact and co-ordinating a holistic temporary offer of support.  

You are expected to have procedural and practical knowledge of Early Help services and experience in a specific area such as family intervention, domestic abuse or youth prevention services.

If successful, you will also be required to apply for an Enhanced Criminal Record Check from the Disclosure and Barring Service. Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults across the Borough. As such the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act relating to the non-disclosure of spent convictions do not apply to this job. YOU MUST THEREFORE, DISCLOSE WHETHER YOU HAVE ANY PREVIOUS CONVICTIONS IN THE APPLICATION FORM.
