Casual Sports Development Coach (Watersports & Adventurous Activities)

Crosby Lakeside, Waterloo.

We are looking for enthusiastic coaches who are passionate about the benefits of outdoor experiences. You will be a skilled coach, able to adapt your style to work with a variety of different clients from primary school pupils through to youth groups and graduate students, you will have a working knowledge of the school curriculum and how outdoor learning can benefit all aspects of education and personal development.

You must be an excellent communicator and possess the interpersonal skills required to liaise with clients from across the region. You must be able to manage and motivate people to deliver the programmes at the Centre. You must be in possession of either a valid British Canoeing – UKCC L2 Coaching certificate or RYA Dinghy, Start Windsurf or Powerboat Instructors certificate plus valid first aid certificate.  In addition you will be responsible for taking a mentoring style approach to aide in the development of our assistant instructor team.

Our staff are very important to us and as part of the team you will receive opportunities to develop your personal and coaching skills in a variety of watersports & adventurous activities with the coach educators based at the Centre.
