An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Adult Safeguarding Team within Sefton Council.

Job requirements:

We are seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced social worker to join a busy Adult Safeguarding  Team. This is a permanent 36 hr post.  We require the successful applicant to have the skills, knowledge and expertise to deliver effective triage of safeguarding concerns, and the ability to pick up an immediate case load of complex safeguarding enquiry work. 

You will manage a defined case load delivering effective safeguarding work and applying the principles of making safeguarding personal work in partnership with adults experiencing or at risk of abuse or neglect including if appropriate, their advocates/ representatives to achieve improved wellbeing and safer lives. You will also have a thorough knowledge of Adult Social Care Legislation, excellent IT skills and familiar with Liquid Logic data base system.

 In return our experienced management team will provide you with regular supervision and the opportunity for professional development.
