Full time and part time positions (Monday to Sunday).
Temporary position for up to 6 months (This may be extended)
Grade F £22,183 - £25,481 pro rata per annum + weekend enhancements
Location: Boroughwide carrying out home visits when necessary, and homeworking
Weekend hours: 9 to 12 pm or 10 to 1 pm.
* As there will be a need to work out in the borough on occasions, you must be able to work in the Sefton area as and when required.
In response to the current Covid 19 Pandemic new opportunities have arisen as the Council are recruiting both full time and part time Contact Tracer posts. Whilst these are for an initial period of up to 6 months, this may be extended.
The successful postholders will be required to provide a contact tracing role in response to COVID-19 in Sefton. The role involves contacting individuals who have become infected with COVID-19 and identifying activities that would have involved other people who may have become exposed. Working closely with the Public Health Team, the overall aim is to reduce transmission of the virus in the community. Training will be provided.
Applicants must be flexible and be prepared to work from home and out in the borough if required. You will have excellent communication skills, be non-judgemental, have competent IT skills and can demonstrate experience of dealing with sensitive or controversial issues in a diplomatic way. Some weekend working may be required, but it is not essential for all post-holders. A rota will be put in place,
If successful, you must make yourself available for on-line training.
An enhanced DBS may be a future requirement for the role.
