Fixed term – 15 months

Apprenticeships are high quality, work-based training programmes for people who want to develop their prospects and career. The programme provides work-based training to young people and adults who want to learn new skills and gain qualifications while working.

Farnborough Road Junior School is looking to recruit an Advanced School Sport and PE Apprentice (Level 3) who is committed and motivated to complete the Apprenticeship Programme.

Your duties will include supporting the teachers and students with Sport, PE and Physical Activity across the whole school; learning how to prepare and present displays of student's work. You shall assist in the setting up of equipment for practical activities, carry out warm up exercises with the students, support with lesson planning, cleaning changing rooms and kits in preparation for the next lesson, tidying the storage cupboards, co-ordinating school display boards, photocopy resources and carry out innovative, quality coaching activities.
