Sefton@Work is a key labour market intermediary for Sefton Council, providing opportunities, information, advice and guidance to local people to enhance their skills and employability and enter the job market.  Our main aim is to provide a joined-up approach to regeneration by ensuring that local people receive the benefits of local investment and job growth in the area.  Sefton@Work is accredited to the Matrix Standard for the provision of information, advice, and guidance, and maintains Customer Service Excellence award. 

The post holder will work within a team of staff providing Information, Advice and Guidance services to adults who are not in work.  The successful applicant will be a fully qualified at NVQ Level 4 in Advice and Guidance, with strong administration and communication skills.  Experience of working to targets and deadlines is essential.
